She represented Northern Tigers at school and thereafter, in both swimming and lifesaving. She obtained National Colours for lifesaving in 2013, and represented South Africa at the Commonwealth Lifesaving Games in Australia the same year, as the captain of the senior ladies' team. 

She obtained her LLB degree at UNISA in 2018 whilst employed at Len Dekker Attorneys. She was a candidate attorney from 2015 and in 2019 she was formally admitted as an attorney. 

IN 2020 she applied and passed a postgraduate diploma in business rescue proceedings at UNISA.

She is currently busy with her LLM degree in commercial law at the University of Pretoria.
